1. Parties and acceptance
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) form the legal agreement between INFINITRY LTD (“we”, “us”, “INFINITRY”) and you (“user”, “you”) regarding the Steep mobile application (“App”).
By downloading, creating an account, signing in with email/password or Google, or continuing to use the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
These Terms also apply to users who obtain the App via Apple App Store or Google Play; each platform’s terms apply in addition (see section 9).
2. Description of the service
Steep is a social dating service for adults 18+ to create profiles, discover others, match, and message.
The service is provided “as is”. Features, UI, algorithms, daily limits, moderation rules, or paid plans may change with or without notice. We do not guarantee any particular feature will remain available.
3. Age and eligibility
The App is only for people aged 18 or older. You must not misrepresent your age.
Accounts that violate age rules, pose risk to minors, or break the law may be suspended or permanently closed, with or without notice.
4. Account creation, identity, and Google sign-in
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account.
Email & password: you are responsible for password security and unauthorised use of your account.
Google sign-in: you may authenticate with Google. Google may process limited identity data during sign-in; Google’s privacy policy applies. In-app sessions are managed via Supabase Auth.
You must not create multiple accounts to manipulate the service; we may merge or close accounts if detected.
5. User content and licence
You retain intellectual property rights in content you post (text, photos, voice, location preferences, etc.) (“Content”). You are responsible for ensuring Content is lawful, does not infringe others’ rights, and complies with these Terms.
You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, host, store, process, display, and transmit Content to operate the App, show your profile to others, enable matching and messaging, moderate, ensure security and fraud prevention, and meet legal obligations. Limited sublicences to infrastructure partners may apply.
When you delete your account or Content, this licence ends within a reasonable period, subject to legal retention, security review, or applicable law.
6. Prohibited conduct
The following is strictly prohibited: illegal activity; hate speech; harassment, threats, blackmail, bullying; impersonation or misleading identity; sexual content violating our rules (zero tolerance for non-consensual or minor-related material); spam, scams, pyramid schemes; malware or security abuse; bots or automation to manipulate the service; sharing others’ private messages or data without consent; systematic ads or scam links to other platforms.
Violations may result in content removal, warnings, temporary or permanent suspension, account closure, and reporting to authorities where appropriate.
7. Moderation and account status
For community safety we may review profiles, messages, and reports using human and/or automated means. If your profile is “pending”, “rejected”, “blocked”, or “shadow banned”, discover, messaging, or other features may be restricted.
You may appeal or request clarification via infinitry.business@gmail.com; we aim to respond within a reasonable time. Decisions are not always final where public safety or legal duties require otherwise.
8. Paid features and subscription (Steep Plus)
The App may offer “Steep Plus” or similar paid features (e.g. higher daily discover limits, extra filters, undo). Digital subscriptions and in-app purchases are billed only through the platform:
- Apple devices: Apple App Store.
- Android devices: Google Play.
Billing is tied to your Apple ID or Google account. Renewal periods are shown at purchase. Subscriptions may auto-renew unless cancelled.
To cancel: use your Apple or Google subscription settings (e.g. iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions; Google Play → Payments & subscriptions). If you do not cancel at least ~24 hours before renewal, the next period may be charged.
Price changes may be announced in-app or via the store; mandatory consumer law remains unaffected.
Free trials: if offered, terms are shown in the store and in-app; you may be charged after the trial unless you cancel.
Refunds for digital content follow Apple or Google policies; contact store support as we do not process card payments directly.
Subscription status may be verified via store and/or server; see our Privacy Policy.
9. Platform terms (Apple and Google)
Apple users: apps from the App Store are also subject to Apple Media Services Terms and Apple’s standard EULA; mandatory Apple terms may prevail where required.
Google users: Google Play Terms of Service and Google payment/subscription rules apply additionally.
If these Terms conflict with platform terms, mandatory consumer protections and your agreement with the platform may take priority.
10. Intellectual property
The App name, branding, design, software (excluding your Content), and documentation are owned by INFINITRY LTD or licensors. You must not copy, reverse engineer, extract source, or use trademarks in a confusing way without permission.
11. Disclaimer
We do not guarantee the accuracy of other users’ identity, intent, or statements. In-person meetings and your personal safety are your responsibility.
We do not warrant uninterrupted, error-free service or any particular outcome (matches, replies, etc.). Reasonable efforts apply for outages caused by third-party infrastructure.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, data loss, reputational harm, lost profits, third-party claims, or misuse outside the service. Our total liability for paid users in the last 12 months is limited to fees you paid us directly (free use may be capped at zero or a low statutory limit).
Nothing excludes liability for death, personal injury caused by intent or gross negligence, or other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
13. Consumer rights
Mandatory consumer protection rules in the UK, EU/EEA, or your country of residence (distance contracts, withdrawal, unfair terms, etc.) apply and cannot be waived by contract.
14. Termination and account deletion
You may close your account using the in-app deletion flow; data retention after deletion is described in the Privacy Policy.
We may terminate accounts that materially breach these Terms, with or without notice. Certain records may be kept where required by law.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to mandatory rules of the country where you live as a consumer.
Disputes should first be raised via infinitry.business@gmail.com. Consumers retain rights to use local courts and authorities.

17. Changes
We may update these Terms. For material changes we will try to notify you in-app or by email in advance. Continued use after changes may constitute acceptance; we may seek additional consent for substantial changes.
